Future Computers has been associated with salary packaging laptop bundles for all Queensland Government employees for over 6 years now. The packaging program has been developed into a tailored, streamlined and less time consuming method of salary packaging a laptop.

What is Salary Packaging

Salary packaging is the only way to purchase a laptop using pre-tax dollars.

This means you are able to reduce the total cost of ownership of your laptop package by your Tax % payable, saving anywhere from 15% to 45% depending on the tax bracket you are in. (Not to mention you can also claim depreciation giving you a further saving.)

The pricing that is available to Education/Government Employees is already discounted through the agreement between Toshiba and the Queensland Government. So why not take full advantage of the savings offered.

Due to the huge success of the previous years “Laptops in Government Program” the packaging system has been made even easier and is now available to ALL Government Employees.

The process has never been simpler

1. Decide on the equipment you wish to package (see below)
2. Fill out the Toshiba Order sheet (Future will provide)
3. Complete Finance documents if financing. (see below)
4. You then Call Remserv on 1300 736 662 and they will take care of the rest.

Consumer Salary Packaging

Flexipak is a Salary Packaging Program for all employee types (not just for Government employees). It combines Flexirenting with Salary Packaging (often referred to as “Salary Sacrifice”.) With Flexipak, you can salary package your Flexirent payments and get the laptop you REALLY want!

The process

Firstly your employer must be registered in the Flexipak program. If this has not yet happened, ask your employer to contact Future Computers on (07) 4032 4800. It has significant benefits for staff members and for your employer as well.

1. Talk to your employer.
   Let your employer know you want to salary package a new laptop computer through Flexirent's Flexipak program. Employees who qualify will be given a Flexipak Notification form from your employer.
2. Call Flexirent for credit approval
   Call 1300 888 779 – it's only a 10 minute application. We'll give you a pre–approval number to take shopping
3. Go shopping for your laptop
   Take your Flexipak Notification form, pre-approval number and photo ID to Future Computers. A salesperson will help you select a laptop to suit your needs and budget. Once your application is signed, you can take your laptop home! 1, 2, 3.You've got a new laptop!
